Recently, I had the opportunity to deliver a lecture for students at the Kyiv School of Economics on Supply Chain Management.
During the session, we explored how modern companies design and develop their supply chains, discussing topics such as supply chain strategy, demand forecasting, and procurement planning—areas that have a direct impact on business performance, service levels, and working capital.
These engagements are particularly meaningful to me. I consciously invest my time in supporting students and see it as part of my mission to share practical expertise with the next generation of professionals.
I strongly believe that combining academic knowledge with real-world business experience helps students adapt more quickly to the professional environment, better understand the challenges businesses face, and build their careers with greater confidence.
Thank you to the students for their engagement, insightful questions, and lively discussion. Interactions like these inspire me to continue sharing my experience and contributing to the development of future supply chain professionals.
What skills or knowledge do you believe are most underrated for young professionals entering the field of Supply Chain Management today?
